Welcome, I am so glad you are here! I love having friends stop by.  My great hope is that you will leave here with something that will give you hope, encourage your heart, or just enjoy.

I write stories about my un-extraordinary life.  It is beautiful and broken.  It is both hard and true.  It is messy, but it is wonderful.  Just like yours.

Perhaps you will see some part of your story reflected in mine, and we can learn from one another. Let's celebrate the victories, and cry over the losses.  Let's make this friendship a haven where you can be you and I can be me.  And we can be simply imperfect together.

I'll start the introductions.  My name is Ginger and I love to sit in grassy fields while the wind blows my hair crazy.  I love to read, too.  Mostly fantasy books, which I have found I do NOT have a talent for writing.  Instead, I scratch down stories that include my husband and our four completely ordinary kids who we deeply love and usually like.  Below you can see our Facebook worthy photo, and below that one you can see the one that didn't get posted.  Listen, I'm trying to keep it real.  I'm just thankful we don't have an audio recording of that experience.

I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and a friend.  I've been a student, a teacher, a nurse and a missionary.  Each of those roles has taught me so much about living life and loving people for exactly who they are.  My next future dream job is to be a real-life published author, but keep that to yourself, because it's kind of a secret.
