Life spark

A tiny spark cupped in my hands
Between my fingers glow
A little warmth it radiates
I want its life to grow
I hold it open to the world
With palms now stretching wide
It spins a great bit brighter now
And takes me for a ride
By its flames I hold on tight
And through the air we soar
The wild wind blows through my hair
And leaves me wanting more
Below, the earth boasts blues and greens
My eyes collect the sight
Amazing world I'd never know
If I had missed the flight
